“The National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies is currently rewriting the national standards for pretrial release. The revised version should be available in Fall of 2017. If you are interested in viewing the current published standards, here are links to the 2004 publication as well as the NAPSA website. The standards can also be found in the Resources tab under ‘publications’.”

The National Institute of Corrections released “A Framework for Pretrial Justice – Essential Elements of An Effective Pretrial System and Agency” in February of this year.
